Front page: I really like the colours used, and i really like the font. I think the picture is to good quality.
Contents pages: I like the categorizing of the page numbers, and the colours it makes the magazine look fun and enjoyable. I feel the "contents" font could be better as I don't think it compliments the other font, which I think is brilliant.
I like the colours you have used throughout the magazine i really like the blue especially because it really stands out. The fonts that you have used are typical for your genre of magazine. I also like the different colours on the contents page because they catch the readers eye and make you want to read it. i think that the right side of the contents page could be a little darker shade of pink as it looks a little too light. i think that a picture of you will look good underneath the 'welcome', and a picture of the main story underneath the contents list would look good. I would suggest that you use the same masthead font and colour for your double page spread as you have on these to pages to keep the theme running through.
I like how you have used a continuous colour scheme throughout your work. This makes it fun to look at :) I also love the fonts you have used as they make the magazine look 'poppy' and fun to read which means that you have put across your genre well :) I like the manipulation of your picture on your main page. The models look well dressed and I like how they are wearing the same thing. On your contents page, I like the idea of a collumn on the left hand side as it splits the text up. On your front page, even though its not finished, I suggest you add more text/ stories/ show a little insight to whats inside your magazine. Well done Lucy, :) You're doing awesomely and I'll look forward to seeing your double paged spread :P
Front cover: I think your masthead hilights the genre 'pop' straight away due to the colour and font, I would suggest that you need to add storys surrounding the main image to fill any space though.
Contents page: I like how the colours from your front cover has continued through to the contents all id suggest is too add pictures in the space that hilight the genre.
Front Cover: The Colours on it are very 'popish', they stand out which is obviously very good as it needs to catch the public's eye. The models look very happy and bouncy which matches your genre perfectly I also like the font used.
Contents Page: Once again your colours used are bright and it's the first thing that the eye sees. I also like the font used, however all i'd suggest is that maybe you have the font all the same size for the title 'contents'.

:)
I like the continous use of colours you have used also the poses of the models are strong and taken from good angles.
ReplyDeleteThe fonts used are appropriate to your genre.
I like the layout of your contents page, it looks neat and relavent to the magazine.
I would suggest to use the same font on the cover as your same font on your contents page for the mastheads
:)
