Research and Planning: Artist Appearance

As I am doing a pop magazine I am going to find it hard to find the right type of people for my models, so I am going to look at other pop artists that are round now. Some of the artists I am going to look at are: Pixie lott, JLS, katy perry, The Saturdays and others.

JLS

JLS is a pop band which was established last year on the tv programme The X -factor. AS you can see the band has a colourful background but they are wearing grey and whites. They do this to make them appeal to both pop and indie fans. The picture is a extreme long shot and the models are looking as if they have an attitude to appeal to the audience. The Saturdays.

In contrast to JLS, The Saturdays wear bright clothes and have a simplistic background to stand out. They are all smiling to look appealing to the audience. The picture is an extreme long shot and has no props in it.
